5 tips to run a business during COVID-19

2020

I think you can and you should BUT you need to start small. That whole ” go big” right now would not work. Because people are being smart about their money. In countries like the USA  COVID-19 has brought the country to its knees and we have NO idea what’s going to happen in the following months. If you’re serious about this here are some tips to help you out.

Make a list of what you want this business to be.

What are you going to sell?

How much are you going to sell this product or service? Remember people are being smart about their money. NO one going to want to pay $2K for a business coach right now UNLESS they already have that kind of money. Keep that in mind

Will you need to mail this product? If you do what will you do if you can’t go to the post office and drop off your orders?

Will you need a website and branding. Can you afford that right now?

Can you keep this product or service under $1K?  to reach more clients or customers?

Will you keep this “business” going after things ” GET BACK TO NORMAL“? If you decide too will you lose the drive after a few months?

Will you register this business with your state? Will you follow the laws in your state?

I leave you with these must-have tips!

 1. Keeping your bills smaller!
Spending less will not make you any less of a business owner. I hear or read posts in FB groups on how they people spend up to $2k  and more a month on really stupid things. I sit here and say ” WHY ARE YOU  COMPLAINING about YOUR SPENDING TO MUCH MONEY ” ..you’re the reason your business is in debt. Just like how you’re making it harder on yourself.
2. Work smarter, not harder!
Come up with systems that can work for your business. If you need to write everything down DO IT!
You don’t need that $ 100-month client management thingy if you’re not booking enough clients to pay for that. BALANCE is key here. In my handmade Biz, I bought and made it a thing too but supplies in. Sales are low so why buy so many supplies to have them lying around? UNLESS your orders are coming in like crazy or your booking a shit ton of clients then invest in things that will make your life easier.
